Who We Are
Rugnaseva Prakalp β Empowering Financially Weak Communities
Rugnaseva Prakalp (RSP) is a grassroots initiative working to uplift the financially underserved population of India through education, awareness, and sustainable development projects. What started as an informal group of dedicated volunteers in the early 1990s has now transformed into a registered non-governmental organization deeply committed to addressing the financial, health, and social challenges of marginalized communities.
Our vision is to create a financially aware and self-reliant society by promoting inclusive growth and equal access to opportunities.
Our Mission
To Educate, Empower, and Enable
We aim to deliver financial literacy, build awareness around government schemes, encourage sustainable livelihoods, and support health and social security awareness across rural and urban areas in Maharashtra and beyond.
Core Mission Goals:
- Build financial literacy at the grassroots level
- Promote women’s economic empowerment through SHGs and training
- Strengthen healthcare awareness in underserved areas
- Facilitate access to government benefits and schemes
- Encourage sustainable development and environmental awareness
Why We Started
Before becoming a registered organization, our volunteers were already active in conducting philanthropic initiatives like health check-up camps and awareness drives. During this process, we realized that financial instability, poor literacy, and lack of awareness were the root causes of several social problems β especially affecting women, children, and rural families.
This inspired us to formally establish Rugnaseva Prakalp as a registered organization focused not just on health but also on holistic financial and social development.
